Facilities
The Villa Arkadia is kept in the classical Greek style all in white (walls) and blue (windows and doors). It provides two separate units (the Upper House and the Lower House), which can be rented together or separately. The Villa can accommodate up to 12 persons (5 bedrooms and 3 baths). It is ideal for large families or for two families spending their vacation together. Even if the two units are rented separately, there is complete privacy due to the skilful separation of the living areas and terraces pertaining to the Upper and the Lower House, respectively.
The Upper House provides 130 sqm living space with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The floors of the Upper House and its terraces are entirely covered with red marble. It was fully refurbished in 2007 and fitted with new furniture. From the large roofed terrace our guests enjoy stunning views of the Argolic Plain, the City of Nafplion as well as the sea and mountains of Arcadia. The terraces are equipped with four rattan arm chairs and an additional table with eight arm chairs. The split level living room has approx. 60 sqm (with ceilings up to 4 meters high) and features a large library, intimate dining area, fire place, sofa and three easy chairs. Technical equipment: Climatisation in the living room (2 separate areas) and in each bedroom, Loewe Sat-TV with more that 100 international channels, DVD, Stereo and High-Speed Internet Access with wireless LAN.
The Lower House was entirely reconstructed in 2007. It has 2 bedrooms and one bath (80 m˛). The floor is covered with beige floor tiles with green marble decoration pieces. Partly roofed terrace with 3 large marquees offering sufficient shade in hot summer days. 2 rattan armchairs and rattan bench, table with marble plate. Living room (approx. 30 m˛) with cosy dinette (rattan table with 4 rattan armchairs), pull-out sofa bed (for 2 additional people), 2 easy chairs and coffee table. White kitchenette covered with green granite plate, luxury appliances (Siemens), big refrigerator with freezer, cooker with Ceran top, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, water boiler and coffee machine. Bath with separate shower. Technical equipment: air condition in the living room and in all bedrooms, Philipps flat screen Sat TV with more than 100 international channels, DVD player, Stereo with CD/Cassette, high-speed internet access via wireless LAN.
Pool and Pool House. The pool and the pool area (approx. 250 m˛) can be used by all guests of the house. The pool area is tiled in Bycantine style, the pool is 10m x 5 m (depth 1.40 – 2.00 m). The pool area can be locked from the terrasse areas of the Upper and the Lower House to provide securitiy for families travelling with small children. The pool house offers fitness equipment (treadmill, rowing machine, cross trainer etc.) and a refrigerator for hot days. There also is a shower (with cold and hot water) in the pool area. There are sufficient sunbeds, tables, chairs and umbrellas available for our guests. And then there is the fabulous view from the pool area to the Sea and mountains of Arcadia…
